Recently, you may have heard information regarding the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, a fictional story that showcases a young adolescent’s suicide and her 13 reasons for ending her life.  On May 18, 2018 the second seasons of this series aired on Netflix.

It is important to understand the concerns surrounding these types of programs.  Some individuals may take away a disturbing message that presents suicide as an acceptable solution.  For vulnerable youth, viewing content of this manner may elevate their risk.
