University High School celebrated its new Bike Tech classroom and curriculum at the Project Bike Tech ribbon cutting on September 27.  This innovative program uses bicycles and bicycle mechanics to teach core and STEM academics, along with technical and mechanical skills, to prepare students to enter the workforce and introduce them to small business operations. Mason Dixon Elementary receives $50,000 grant through Sparking Early Literacy Growth initiative

Commissioned by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, Mason Dixon’s Eagle’s NEST (Nurture, Educate, Succeed Together) project will provide caregivers and young learners with literacy and school-readiness resources to encourage reading at home year round.  Read more for details.

Our Board of Education administrative offices are now located in our new building at 1751 Earl L. Core Road in Sabraton.  Personnel from the previous BOE office, Suncrest Center, and Westover now have offices at the new facility.
