The Superintendent's Advisory Council (changed to the Family Advisory Council to the Superintendent or FACS on January 11, 2023), was established in 2021 to provide a direct line of communication between individual school stakeholders and the Superintendent.
PURPOSE of the Family Advisory Council: It is the purpose of the Family Advisory Council to the Superintendent (FACS) to provide our school parent constituency the opportunity to provide input to the County’s decision-making process, toward the achievement of county-wide goals regarding the value and celebration of learning as well as working to create responsible and productive youth.

- Serve as a sounding board for new ideas.
- Help the Superintendent and school board anticipate and/or identify community concerns and potential solutions to those ideas.
