Dear Ridgedale School Community! 

The most wonderful time of the year is almost here!

August 24 is the first day for K-5 and PreK comes on August 25. Parent Night for Kindergarten and PreK is on August 19, 5:00-7:00 PM. Grades 1 and 2 have a Parent Night on August 31, 5:00-7:00. Parent Night for grades 3-5 is September 2, 5:00-7:00. Teacher assignments will be in the mail about the 2nd week in August.

The new cafeteria and kitchen are fully operational. The 11 updated classrooms are ready and waiting. Art and Music have fresh, modern spaces. Kindergarten has its own wing. Even the playground is getting is a little upgrade. It is fabulous, and we cannot wait for you to see the finished facility. We are planning a ribbon cutting ceremony with an Open House Tour for our Ridgedale community in early October. We are looking forward to showing off the “new” building!

Many of you depend on the before and after school programs for your children, and I want to assure you that Ridgedale will have these programs up and running at the start of the school year. Our Coordinator of Student Programs and Community Resources, Susan Taylor, has been working throughout the summer to develop a program which will provide quality before and after school care.
